So....
Well, I'm learning a lesson in patience. We have had some issues with our homestudy which I won't go into because there is a purpose for everything. God's timing is perfect; and, even though things are not going as fast as I would like (or as well), there is a reason! Maybe she isn't quite the right age yet; and if things were going quickly, we would get the wrong referral. Or, maybe God knows that things have been kinda stressful around here, and we weren't ready for the next wave of papers. Or, maybe the weather will be just perfect when we need to go... Who knows? Well, God does... And, that makes this hold-up ok... So, we are just waiting for the homestudy to be approved by our first agency so that we can send it on to the referal agency. Please pray that the timing will be perfect! :)

Hi Angela! Love your blog and will DEFINITELY be praying for you in your journey. It is always good to meet other Apexers going through the same process as we are! I'll add the blog to my google reader too:) Every single process of the adoption so far has definitely given us a huge lesson in patience. I hope that your home study is finished soon. Keep us updated!
ReplyDeleteBeen there, but we talked about that :) If there is anything I can help with, let me know (Or if you need to vent, I'm here). We weren't able to get our I-800a mailed before the fees went up, so we get to spend an extra $60 to get it in the mail. The good news though is that we should be able to mail ours early next week. I hope yours is soon behind ours.
